Lynds shot Mersereau five times - CBC - Local - News - Truro Daily News: "Hells Angel Jeffrey Lynds of North River shot fellow outlaw biker Randy Mersereau at point-blank range with a revolver in the basement of 74 Peppard Dr., Onslow Mountain, according to a CBC News report.
Halifax CBC reporter Phonse Jessome reported on Thursday that Lynds provided a statement to police following his arrest in Truro last spring, admitting his involvement in Mersereau's death.
Mersereau disappeared in the fall of 1999, shortly after a bombing at a used car dealership in Bible Hill in an initial attempt on his life.
This past October, the RCMP spent eight days searching the basement and a nearby pond at the Onslow residence before moving their investigation to a wooded area off Hiram Lynds Road in North River, where Merserau's skeletal remains were found.
'Hells Angel Jeff Lynds told them that in October 1999 he killed Randy Mersereau in the basement and a friend buried the gun outside,' Jessome reported."
