Man may have been injured in shooting of Gold Coast stripper | News.com.au: "POLICE divers were this afternoon combing a Gold Coast canal for the gun used to shoot a stripper.

Five divers, some with underwater metal detectors, scoured the canal behind the luxury Broadbeach Waters house where the 26-year-old woman was shot in the thigh yesterday morning after an apparent all-night party with other exotic dancers and men believed to include bikie gang associates.

The search came after police revealed a man may also have been injured during the shooting, but fled the scene before before officers arrived.

'We do have information that, potentially, a male person at the house may have also been injured and may have left before the police arrived,'' regional crime co-ordinator Superintendent Dave Hutchinson said."
